Goals

This specific TRUST TRAUMA-SENSITIVE WORKING MODEL aims to raise awareness, upgrade skills and knowledge and increase the competence of professionals (direct beneficiaries) in identifying and confronting complex trauma and taking this into consideration while implementing the TRUST TRAUMA-SENSITIVE WORKING MODELl when working with traumatised marginalised youth and in this case young people who additionally have criminal and/or drug abuse background.

The participation of marginalised youth with complex trauma backgrounds (indirect beneficiaries) in the 10-session stabilisation group model intervention developed for the TRUST TRAUMA- SENSITIVE WORKING MODEL, aims to strengthen their self-belief, reduce their psychological unwellness and alleviating its symptoms, improve their ability to function, increasing their opportunities to live a crime- and drug-free life promoting the project’s utmost purpose which is to ease their social inclusion and their transition towards education and the labour market.
